Oil paintings are constructed with a heavy grade of cotton canvas, stretched and primed by hand with two heavy coats of gesso on a custom frame treated with a polyurethane finish. Heavy amounts of pure oil paint are applied in intriguing rhythmic patterns, some within the constraints of a free-flowing line. Themes include nature, humanity, politics, with abstract expressionist flavor.
